Help & contact.
MusicFlex is a small, one-person app. If something isn't working or you just have a question, the answers below cover most of it — and you can always write to me directly.
Frequently asked
How do I get my music into MusicFlex?
Two ways. Open Wi-Fi Connect in the app and drag your files straight in from a browser on any computer on the same network — whole folders at a time. Or copy music into the MusicFlex folder on your device, through the Files app or over a cable from your computer.
The Wi-Fi transfer page won't connect.
Three things to check: your phone and computer are on the same Wi-Fi network; the Wi-Fi Connect screen is still open on the phone (the server only runs while it is); and you've entered the six-digit pairing code shown on the device. Corporate or guest networks that block device-to-device traffic can also get in the way.
What's the free library, and what does unlocking do?
The free library holds 25 songs. A single one-time purchase, Unlimited Library, lifts that limit forever — no subscription, no account. Songs already in your library always keep playing, and the unlock is shared with your Family Sharing group.
Which file formats can it play?
MP3, M4A, AAC, WAV and AIFF.
Where is my music stored? Do you collect any data?
Everything stays on your device. MusicFlex has no account, no cloud and no analytics, and collects nothing — see the privacy policy. Your library is included in your own device backups and is removed if you delete the app.
I bought the unlock but a new phone doesn't show it.
Open the paywall and tap Restore Purchase while signed in with the same Apple Account you bought it on. A non-consumable purchase is owned forever and restores for free.
